From the bayous of southern Louisiana..
“Somehow I escaped the Cajun accent, but Louisiana will always be in my heart. And I can't live long without a good bowl of gumbo.”
Jon picked up his first guitar at age 17 and immediately started writing music. He was inspired by a diverse range of musicians, from Stevie Ray Vaughn to the Misfits and Nirvana. And of course the music of Louisiana and New Orleans. His also worked at several local radio stations, including KSLU and WZRH (formerly “The Zephyr”).
After touring the Southeast with regionally acclaimed rock bands, Jon left the spotlight to focus on songwriting. “Going solo allowed me the opportunity to focus on songs I’d been writing in my bedroom for years.”
Jon lives in Mandeville and performs in southern Louisiana. He also work as a freelance graphic artist and web designer, check out his blog here. Contact and booking info are here.
